OT: zoom x5 adsl modem

zoom x5 adsl modem

I have this modem, and it is working fine as my gateway to
the internet. It is currently using the default firewall
rules and other default non-lan settings.

I would like to set the date and time via sntp, one of the
menu options but I get an error saying "no server has been
configured". There is no help offered on the help menu or
the manuf. web site knowledge base. Since this is a fairly
common modem I'm hoping that someone at blu.org can shed
some light on doing this.

The Web interface is a little klunky in the current state
feedback department, as some of the settings displayed show
the correct settings, specifically my lan settings, but not
the Wan settings. I did save the current configuration to
disk and reviewed it for the Wan/Lan settings I know to be
correct and I feel comfortable that they are.
