please test your speakeasy connection



hello all. if you have dsl service from speakeasy, please run a speed  
test at <http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/> and email me your  
results along with the rated speed for your line. if your connection  
is in boston, it is probably homed out of their nyc pop, so be sure  
to click 'new york'.

recently i discovered 2 speakeasy/covad dsl circuits that are running  
at half of their rated speed. one of them has some odd noise on the  
line that the covad tech suggested might have been created  
intentionally by verizon (they own the actual wire loop). i am trying  
to find others who might be affected by this problem.
