Disk Recovery suggestions welcomed...

Set this all up and just tried it.  Interestingly, I got an I/O error
reading the source disk.  Feh.  I would have thought this would access the
individual sectors regardless.  So... the partition is gone?  I need to try
testdisk again; I got "unrecoverable errors" but the other partitions on
that drive were mounted at the time.  Looks like a good time for a complete
overhaul, I guess.
