[OT] Comcast phone service?

I know this is a bit off-topic, but I think it is still relevant (correct
me if I'm wrong).

What are people's thoughts/experiences with Comcast residential phone
service?   How does it compare with Verizon?   What is the call quality
like?   How is the customer/technical service?   If something goes wrong,
how good are they with responding and troubleshooting?    Do they have
their own power source like Verizon?    Can I have as many phones
connected as I want?
