Portable File Format

No, there are only write-once, read-never formats.

(What does portable mean? OO will save and read documents in
RTF, some Word dialects, ASCII, and a bunch of others. Export to
PDF is trivial. Spreadsheets can be saved and read in various
Lotus and Excel formats.)
