the name of Confucius in Chinese. I have copied it from Konqueror to
Firefox (which runs on GTK+/Gnome libraries), and then from there here to
vim running in konsole, saved to the text file, which I have imported in
KNode. I believe that as long as you use applications which well support
UTF-8 (especially those which are part of Gnome and KDE), then you should
be well. However, I have not done any more extensive testing than this one
(in Chinese, I use Czech all the time and everything works well -- except
for MC, which is broken long time and upstream maintainers have no sense of
urgency to fix it).
