Virtualization recommendation

You can get an evaluation key for vmware workstation, download and play.

For me, vmware just works, especially for taming ms-windows.  You will want to put as much ram into your laptop as is possible.

I haven't tried xen yet, or the 'free' vmware server (beta 2).
