C Coding Style (Linux Kernel)

Hello

Recently, I saw some criticism on a
Web Site, dedicated to Linux Device Drivers.
The criticism was focused on the way some guy
wrote (or formatted) code in a Device Driver
that had been submitted for inclusion in the Tree(?)
This was a sticky issue of embedding comments
within the code...

That started me thinking about a Coding Style guide...

What or where is the accepted coding standard or
Style Guide for writing and formatting code
for the Linux Kernel?

thanks for a simple question
