Sharing Files via the web

As part of the infrastructure for a collaborative global team, I put
together a solution for OASIS that uses Subversion and WebDAV and
autoversioning. This setup allows you to use a variety of 'standard'
software applications (e.g. Microsoft Office, OpenOffice, Adobe Photoshop)
to open and save files plus file managers (Windows Explorer, Finder,
Konqueror, Nautilus) to drag and drop files to a 'website' that looks like a
hard drive. It works very well and there are also projects like SVN Manager
(http://svnmanager.sourceforge.net/) that will let you manage the whole
setup (although I have not set that up yet).
