32 or 64-bit PC?

Most PCs and laptops will be marked as 64-bit. Currently, the only 64-bit
laptops are AMD based because Intel has decided to push their core duo
chips for the time being.
In the case of desktop systems, most 64 bit AMD chips are labeled with -64
(such a Turion-64, Athlon-64 the Opteron is only 64-bit). Intel does not
label their 64-bit chips as such.
I was just looking at an HP Pavilion with "Intel(R) Pentium(R) D 820
(2.8GHz, 2MB,800MHz FSB) ".

The Pentium D 820 has both dual core and EM64T.

However, AFAIK, Intel has ended their 32-bit production. I believe that I
posted the roadmap here a few months ago. However, the Core Duo mobile
technology series does appear to be 32-bit only at least through December.
