cups admin problem with Ubuntu

In cupsd.conf, check SystemGroup. Either change it to a group
that you are in or add yourself to that group. Now your usual
username and password will work.

I prefer to create a new user "cupsadmin" or the like, rather
than using a real password through a web interface, even on my
own machine...
