Most of the systems sold there are working, but not-so-gently used, and
most vendors are individuals, not companies that offer wrrantees, etc.
As Bill said, they usually tell you what the deal is.

I'll actually be selling there this Sunday myself.  I'm grabbing two
spots indoors.  I have some older, slower systems to sell, so it's
probably not what you want.  But I mark tested stuff as tested, and
untested stuff with a large "AS IS" label.

If you're looking for laptops, there's this one vendor who buys laptops
from companies that go under.  Much more gently used, and it comes with
a guarantee.  I bought a laptop for my mom from him and it worked fine.
 Look for a guy with real business cards and nothing but nice looking
laptops all running demos.  If I find his name I'll send it to you.
