Need download tool recommendations

Hi,

I'm downloading at dialup speeds and am looking for a tool, if one exists,
that would allow me to interrupt and resume downloads (i.e. hangup and
redial) of a single very large file (such as the Eclipse download). Or any
alternative methods to tying up my phone line for hours (yeah, yeah, I
know, move into the 21st century with DSL ;).

TIA for your thoughts,
Ilane
