two nis domains on one subnet

Guys,

I believe one can do this, but I want to double check. Can one setup two
independent NIS
domains on the same subnet? Then have one set of PC's tie in with one
NIS domain and
the other set of PC's tie in to the other?

Cheers. Steve.
