Need help with Fedora Core 5 PPP server

I have used a variety of web sites to get myself close (I think) to a
establishing a successful ppp server on my FC5 machine. If someone has a link
to an up-to-date website, or could work with me if you already have it set up
I'd greatly appreciate it.

I am setting it up at home. I have a VOIP line connected to a modem. The
modem is then connected via serial cable to a laptop running FC5, all connected
to a Linksys "broadband" box, then to a cable modem.

Some test dials show the modem is auto answering and trying to train, but no
successful connections.

I'll be continuing to review /var/log/messages and see what I can work out, too.

Thanks in advance.

Scott
