Strange PPP Disconnect errors?

Hmm.. I tried it and it didn't work..  But then I put it back in,
and it still wasn't working..  Then I added the 'record' option and
it worked fine..  So.. I'm just confused about what makes it work
or not.

If I can get a log of a failure I'll send one out.
