Comcast phone and Internet inquiries

I believe that would be the newer "digital voice" (which goes over the
cable), not the old "digital phone" (which borrows Verizon's wires). Our
digital voice service has been flawless. Part of the deal is you have to
rent their modem - a standard cable modem doesn't support the phone
service. The modem includes battery backup that's supposed to be good
for days; we did not lose dial tone during a recent two-hour power
outage in Fulton Heights.
