NIC channel bonding issues with multicast messages

I've encountered a strange problem today:

On my RHEL4 servers I have an ethernet channel bonding with 2 NICs
configured for redundancy purposes.

I've installed a Jboss cluster on two different servers and found out that
for some reason two nodes of the cluster can't see each other.

Members of the Jboss cluster are communicating with each other using
multicast messages.

After playing around for several hours, doing some network sniffing, and
reinstalling cluster on different servers, I've realized that I am only
having this issue on the machines where NIC bonding is configured. NIC is
obviously receiving multicast messages from other servers, but JBoss doesn't
like them :)

Did anyone ever had similar issues ?
