Getting used to the mac single button...

The key sequence you're looking for is CTRL-<mouse click>.  It has been that 
way since OS 8.

If you're on a desktop, throw the one button paperweight away and get a nice 
multibutton mouse.

If you're on a laptop, you can use the CTRL key right click option or you can 
set the trackpad to interpret two-fingers+a-click as the right click.
