Nokia N800 and bluetooth phones

I recently obtained the N800 and I am trying to see
if I can reach the internet with my bluetooth phone.

I tried my ISP's phone number with the user/password
but, though my phone makes interesting noises, no connection is made.

So far, google has not come up with any good "howto"s

Can anyone on this list help me out?

(the 802.11 wireless does seem to work, but it would be useful
to get the Nokia to work with my cell phone).
