 I have used Glade, and once you get used to it, it's not too bad.  I 
have also played around with PyGTK, and that was relatively simple as 
well.  What's nice about scripting languages is that you can throw 
together the app and even rework it on-the-fly, right in front of the 
consumer.  That way, the feedback loop is very quick :-)
