And doesn't cut your copper, so you can call the power company to 
report a power outtage ... or ask if it will last many days longer ... 
if you have real a line-powered phone too. If your cellphone doesn't 
recharge from disposable batteries, it won't work into the 3rd day ... 
and 911 doesn't know where your cellphone lives if you dial but can't 
talk ...
