What kind of errors are you getting with your comcast email. My 
fetchmail log does not show any errors with my comcast email, and I 
just sent an email to my Comcast address, and it took about 30 seconds 
for me to manually restart fetchmail. It took about 3 seconds to get to 
Comcast's POP3 server.
