What's the point that your trying to make, that your double headed desktop 
doesn't work like you want, a bizarre set up at best, and there for 
GNU/Linux isn't ready for the desktop?   

The point is insane and would be best left for COLA or some such place for 
wachos. 

I'll give you a clue about something.  If you need to screens you need to 
find a better window manager.  Try wmaker.
