The *kernel* community is what we're talking about. Not the whole 
open-source development community. Plus, if I were them, I wouldn't 
stick my head into lkml if you paid me...too many tinpot dictators, 
too many unpleasant jerks. Although I guess that's true no matter 
where you go.
