Disagree completely. His ideas may have invigorated loose ideas that had 
knocked around for years, but Stallman *himself* motivating others? No. By 
his own admission, he is hard to deal with, prickly and not great at coding. 
Maybe his ideas, and his codifying them and moving forward with GNU, 
certainly, but not himself motivating coding...
