For CNN addicts living in Ubuntu

The flash player comes up automatically if you're using Firefox (on
Linux?).  So I didn't get what your point was because it "just
worked".  Then after I clicked on the link for their regular stream, I
found that their former system is (Microsoft-only) broken for Linux.
