Ipod Ownership?

Also, if the file system is HFS+, you may be able to specify the uid
and gid options in the mount command:

$ mount -t hfsplus -o uid=kent,gid=kent /dev/ipod /mnt/ipod

(assumes you've disabled any automounting in the desktop environment)
