GNOME themes

there is a Gnome Art Manager which 'kinda' handles this. It has options
like 'Desktop background', 'window borders' and 'icons'. It auto
downloads the files for you when you select the option you want, and you
get to browse it that way ... 
it makes it much more manageable ...
