Monitors Won't Sleep in TwinView Mode (Ubuntu Jaunty / gnome-power-manager)

Ok, I just tried it w/out the KVM... still doesn't work :(
Also when I previously mentioned that I've tested these monitors on other
rigs (also using Ubuntu), I should have also said that I was still using the
KVM when I tested them, and they work fine... However the rig that I am
using for my main computer is the one that is having the problems (of course
it would have to be that way), the other rigs are just test beds or rigs
that I rarely have to access.

Thanks for the idea Ben, but wouldn't you know it, "xset dpms force off"
doesn't work either.

All that command does is turn on my screensaver "blank screen"... but the
monitors are still in Active (Non-Sleep) state.
