Fedora 11 - could not start boot splash: No such file or directory

That was included on the DVD iso?!?

It does still exist, of course:

http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/releases/11/Fedora/x86_64/os/images/boot.iso

If it was once on the DVD iso, I'd imagine it may have been removed  
for space considerations. The distro is far larger than a single DVD,  
so space on it is precious, and boot.iso has grown a bit over the  
years -- its now boot.iso, netinst.iso and rescue.iso all in one, with  
the anaconda stage2 image included in it.
