CalDAV/CardDAV Android Sync to Personal Linux Server?

Googled licensed ActiveSync from Microsoft for their calendar syncing.
 Android 2.0+ has default Exchange syncing using the same technology that
they use for the Google Calendar syncing.  Apparently some
phone manufacturers may choose to disable it for license cost reasons
though.

The CalDav syncing app may be a better way to go for you.  Never used it
myself though.
