Comcast to FIOS and email?

My experience is:

Use gmail.

Or just register your own domain and host it with somebody like google apps,
or dreamhost, or various other locations ... Ridiculously cheap.  Some
(including google apps) are free and you just pay the domain registration
fee annually.

Personally I'm a power user, so I pay $9 per month to Sherweb for a full
featured exchange & sharepoint account.
