preferred linux distro for workstation usage?

What is "super sweet" about the interface? From screen shots, it looks
just like every other Linux distro, just with a Mint/green-themed
skin. Was there a particular variant that was super sweeter than
others? They seem to do different spins for different desktops, but
nothing that isn't available on any other distro.

I think this still remains unanswered. :)

I may have to play with Linux Mint Debian Edition myself though, just
for the heck of it.
