Best practice for production servers: To reboot or not to reboot?

blah blah.  This is just a biased opinion.  No software in the world is
unflawed, and all the server OSes out there are reliable enough to stay up.
(Maybe except OSX  ;-)

But if you have anything facing the internet, you better apply monthly
patches for security reasons.
