dreamhost, postgresql & php

hi all.

just a quick update.  i'm having lots of problems trying to get php and
postgresql to work on their private server.  basically it's just one
problem after another.  i've spent about a week and a half just chasing
down issues.  their stock php build does not support postgre and their
beta build has 2 issue i've found already.  i have an open ticket and
i'm waiting on a response from their devs.

i highly suggest anybody who wants to use postgresql & php to avoid
dreamhost.  maybe they'll be ready next year.
