C-a esc (copy) Enter copy/scrollback mode.

In scrollback mode, a bunch of key combinations work for moving around,
but I find these the most useful:

C-u and C-d scroll the display up/down by the specified
amount of lines while preserving the cursor position.
	(Default: half screen-full).

C-b and C-f scroll the display up/down a full screen.

Other hints:
Hitting the spacebar marks a position in the buffer. Hitting it again
copies everything from the mark to the current position.
Control-A ] pastes into the current window.
Control-A > writes the paste buffer to a file.

And there's lots more, including the ability to use some other key
instead of Control-A as the command character!
