I'm not sure that will happen.  It could.  It might not.  I think that 
something in the market needs to happen to make expansion as desirable, 
no, as necessary as convenience to irrational consumers.  That something 
isn't a technical something.  We've had expansion on portable devices 
for several decades and it's never really taken hold outside of niche 
applications (like my MP2100's keyboard).
