I suspect that if we let MIT undergraduates know that we routinely
gave away memory modules at the END of BLU meetings that we would get
more attendees.   They can't all afford the latest equipment
(particularly for hacking projects), nor have they had time to collect
a lot of cruft in their basement (err..  dorm room).
