[Discuss] Low end color laser printers

Several years ago I bought a Ricoh C410DN color laser. Best printing decision
I ever made! It cost about $700, and after something like 15,000 pages I have
yet to go through the second set of toner bottles that I bought for it.

It prints quite fast (rated 24ppm, and has a fast enough processor to maintain
that speed for a lot of the things I send it besides truly-heavy graphics),
has duplexer built in, and rivals ink-jet for photo quality.

$700 sounds like a lot for a printer but the per-page cost is dramatically
lower. Toner comes in inexpensive clear plastic bottles that hold a huge
amount.

I'm sure this model has been replaced with some other; one current model is
C430DN (but that's >$1000). This vendor focuses on the office market so they
have zero presence in the consumer market.
