I have had apps disappear on Android. One was evernote, but I just
reloaded it. Another issue I found with Android, is that when I place an
icon on the screen, and I move the data for that app to the SD card to
free up memory (using supertoolbox) if the SD card is unloaded (when
plugging in to a computer) it disappears. The app remains, just the icon
on one of the screens.
