Or in addition.  Yes, they co-exist nicely.  Depending on your device, it might be tricky to install them both, but that's the device mfgr's fault, not the amazon app or google app.

The product offerings in each store overlap a lot - but have significant differences too.  Sometimes I find an app in amazon that's not in google, or vice-versa.  And books.

Prices are not always equal.  Sometimes you save a buck or two by buying from the other store.

The amazon app is unfortunately *crazy* bloated.  Very slow to launch or do anything.  But it works.
