[Discuss] TrueCrypt EOL, what's next?

Turns out my first speculation was correct. Steve Barnhart at GRC has
been in communication with one of the TrueCrypt developers, one "Dave",
who reported that the reason for the shutdown was simply that "There is
no longer interest" in developing and maintaining TrueCrypt.
