Literally, everyone. Apple started it around 3-4 years ago. Now Lenovo, Dell, and others are doing it too. Soldered in memory and SSD.

Not all models do it - But all Apples do. And the tiniest lightest thinnest models of Lenovo, Dell (and I think surface) do it too.
