[Discuss] Delivering mail to folders

I thought "Inbox" was different, and even if you're using Maildir
instead of mbox, incoming mail still got delivered do /var/mail/$USERNAME.

So you say the problem is Postfix (or Dovecot, not even sure who is
saving the mail in this arrangement) is saving to /var/mail/$USERNAME,
not that Dovecot isn't looking for it there? I'll buy that.

My current server is using mbox, and I've wanted to switch for many
years. Moving my mail from my old server to the new one, and getting it
into the maildirs, was an exercise I didn't want to even think of yet,
assuming that there are tools to do that.

Thanks.
