[Discuss] Need help/consulting with apache/SSL/owncloud/mail

Because of the problems I've had hosting my own web server in my house
now that I've moved from Comcast Business Internet with a static IP
address to Verizon FIOS without one.

Mail:

I've been trying to migrate mail and other things to a Linode server
(Ubuntu 14.04, ssh access). It... hasn't been going well. Configuring
Dovecot and Postfix securely has turned out to be harder than I thought
given my available time. That might also be in part because I'm trying
to switch from mailfile to maildir, etc. but it's just not happening.
The current configuration is that I'm using the Linode server as a smart
relay, because when I sent mail from a Verizon dynamic IP almost
everyone rejected it. I'm still receiving mail to my home server and
retrieving it using IMAP.

SSL:

I splurged for a wildcard certificate from GoDaddy. I *THINK* I have
Apache set up right to use it, but it's complaining that another domain
name I own isn't in there (I'm not even trying to use it) so it's
turning off SSL. However, https://myservername/ goes to the apache
default page nicely.

Previously I tried using letsencrypt, then decided that was a horror
show I didn't want to get involved in. I think dovecot is still using
that, because I *JUST* got the GoDaddy cert and was more focused on
using it with apache than dovecot.

Owncloud:

I have a very old version of Owncloud running on my home server and was
trying to get the newest version running on Linode to replace it. It at
first complained about SSL, but now it's not, but it just comes up with
a blank screen.

I'm looking for someone who can help me out with this. I would rather
not play 20 questions on the discuss mailing list, sending log and
config files back and forth, if I can avoid it. I would rather pay
someone to work with me on it, if I can. If you know someone whose
interested, or are interested yourself, please let me know ASAP. I run
mail for the family and they are grumbling about things not working
great right now.

Thanks.
