for resource management

Abstract
Topics: LVM fundamentals + bonus coverage on CGroups

Part1: Overview of Logical Volume Management. Learn how to manage
your storage and protect your data with LVM2. Add disks, create volume
groups & logical volumes. Then protect your data by leveraging the
native RAID capabilities of the modern LVM2.

Part2: And for the second part of this presentation, learn about the
new resource management features of Linux called CGroups. Restrict
processes to limited resources by establishing CGroup policies.

The plan is to utilize RHEV-M (demonstrated in March 2012 for BLU)
and provide lab sessions which attendees can connect to via VDI (Virtual
Desktop Infrastructure).
