Request for assistance

I'm running linux 1.2.8 and dosemu 0.60.3, and trying to run the Works 
for Dos wordprocessor.  My problem is that when I try to print I'm told 
that LPT1 is not available, even though I can lpr to it from linux.

Any ideas would be most appreciated.
