Lint for Linux?

Is there any port of lint to Linux (it doesn't matter if it is GNU or old)?
I have at least one program that is looking for it, and it is not part of 
the slackware distribution.... The closest I've been able to come up with 
is archie mentioning it for NET-BSD.
