Right.  PPP uses three kinds of logins: text session, PAP, and CHAP.  The
Windows 95 default is PAP, so most places support it.  For PAP, the user name
is supplied as "name" and the password is supplied as "secret."

Offerring an IP address of 0.0.0.0 is the official standard mechanism.
